Most people may believe that a facelift is accomplished by simply pulling back the skin of the face to reduce sagging and the presence of folds and wrinkles. In reality, the facelift procedure requires numerous steps and addresses loose excess skin, underlying structures of the face, and pockets of accumulated fat.

During the facelift procedure, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Troy Pittman will make several incisions to gain access to the underlying structures of the face. He will sculpt the tissue of the cheeks, jaw, and neck to enhance their definition and aesthetic appeal. Excess skin will be surgically removed, and the excess fat in the area will be drained.

Once you have fully recovered, you should have a noticeably more youthful and attractive appearance with improved facial contours and taut skin. Contact our office to schedule a consultation for your facelift with Dr. Pittman so you can benefit from the rejuvenating power of the procedure.
